SGD Uses Too Much of My Network's Bandwidth

Set the Bandwidth Limit attribute for a user profile to reduce the maximum allowable bandwidth the user can use.

Note Reducing the available bandwidth might have implications for application usability.

  1. In the SGD Administration Console, click the User Profiles tab.
  2. Select the user profile you want to change. The General tab is displayed.
  3. Click the Performance tab.
  4. Select a value from the Bandwidth Limit list.
  5. Click Save.

On the command line, use the following command:

The following are the available bandwidths:

None 0

Note None is the default and means there is no limit on bandwidth usage.
