Mission Control Console

Mission Control Console (MCC) is a configuration and administration tool that lets you centralize or distribute the control of specific Netscape servers and applications, such as Directory Server or BillerXpert. You can only manage the 4.x-level Netscape servers, such as Directory Server 4.0, and not Netscape Enterprise Server 3.6, which ships with BillerXpert 1.0. You must continue to manage earlier versions of Netscape servers with the appropriate Administrative Server.

With MCC, you can logically group Netscape servers to distribute or centralize administrative tasks. All the servers in an administrative domain share the same configuration directory. Servers in separate domains can be administered separately, and domain administrators can grant individuals the privileges needed for a specific server within their domain.
