This tar-file contains the source code, makefiles, and shell scripts
required to compile, link and run the example programs discussed
in the Techniques for Optimizing Applications: High Performance
Computing Sun BluePrints book. These programs show the benefits of
various optimization techniques and coding practices described in the
book. The versions of Solaris Operating Environment,
Forte Developer, and Sun ClusterTools software required to run these
examples are noted in the corresponding chapters of the book.
Sun does not support the MR Toolkit.
DISTRIBUTION: Only Sun Microsystems, Inc. ("Sun") or an authorized
Sun VAR may distribute the file in any form. Once a party other
than Sun or an authorized Sun VAR is in possession of the file, it may
