The tarantella role command

Syntax

Description

The tarantella role command gives users specific roles, and to give them webtop links that apply to that role.

Subcommand Description
add_link Adds links to the webtops of occupants of particular roles.
add_member Adds occupants to particular roles.
list Lists and describes all available roles.
list_links Lists the webtop links for occupants of particular roles.
list_members Lists the occupants of particular roles.
remove_link Removes links from the webtops of users occupying particular roles.
remove_member Removes occupants from particular roles.

Note All commands allow the --help option: you can use tarantella role subcommand --help to get help on a specific command.

Examples

Lists all available roles.

Skip past command syntax or program codetarantella role add_link \
  --role global \
  --link ".../_ens/o=Indigo Insurance/cn=Indigo Time"

Adds a link for the application Indigo Time to the webtops of users occupying the Global Administrators role.
