[SunRay-Users] Backing store with meta kiosk session not working

we are using two different ways to connect to our X11 host. These host
deliver X11 application that are using "backing store" feature by nature.
First way is selection at dtlogin greeting screen and using
"Options|Remote Login| Enter Host Name ..." to connect to remote host.
This works fine for complete Solaris 10 environment with zones !

On the sunray server you can see that existing Xnewt process is killed
and new Xnewt process with "-query" option is started for the remote

process list before entering remote host name:

1260 /usr/dt/bin/dtlogin -daemon
   29992 /usr/dt/bin/dtlogin -daemon
     158 dtgreet -display :9

process list after entering remote host name:

1260 /usr/dt/bin/dtlogin -daemon
   223 /opt/SUNWut/lib/Xnewt :9 -nobanner -auth /var/dt/A:9-3tbGDc
-query <HOST>

The "backing store" capability works fine with this Xnewt process !

In an alternative way we connect to a remote host using meta kiosk
session (created by Daniel Cifuentes see at
http://blogs.sun.com/danielc/entry/meta_kiosk_how_to_run) configured at
sunray web gui.
Here is a process tree for this strategy

1260 /usr/dt/bin/dtlogin -daemon
   28904 /opt/SUNWut/lib/Xnewt :2 -nobanner -auth /var/dt/A:2-B7aGDc -br
+bs -terminate
   28952 /usr/dt/bin/dtlogin -daemon
     29786 /bin/ksh /opt/SUNWkio/lib/Xsession
       29900 /opt/SUNWut/lib/utslaunch
       29928 /opt/SUNWkio/lib/kioskcrit
/var/run/opt/SUNWkio/sessions/utku122/kioskcritd /et
         29931 /bin/bash
/etc/opt/SUNWkio/sessions/meta-kiosk/meta-kiosk-session THIS KIOSK US
           29978 /usr/X11/bin/Xephyr -ac +bs :1 -once -query <HOST>

The problem is that using this way the "backing store" capability gets
lost ! There seems to be NO way to deliver "backing store" information
through this cascaded way of X server processes.

We created a service request at Sun for this issue; please see Sun /
Oracle case ID 71095194...

The question is :

Is it possible to use an new Xnewt process decribed in the first way
(see above) to connect to remote host using a kiosk session instead of
starting a Xephyr based on existing Xnewt process.
