unfortunately, this pkg is gnome-related. Here, we're using CDE (old 
sunrays servers, not a good idea to use gnome desktop), and i removed 
staroffice8, letting users to use only openoffice3.
But i don't know where CDE, thunderbird, firefox look for files 
association?
