Hi!

I don't use ubuntu for servers so I don't know exactly what you need, but here are some questions:
- can you mount a ntfs disk on ubuntu?
- do you have ntfs-3g installed on that system?
- does ubuntu mount ntfs drive automatically?

I think that when uibuntu mount ntfs drives automatically your problem will be solved.

Asunto: [SunRay-Users] Automatic mount of NTFS USB mass storage drives

Hi All

I have SRSS 4.1 on Ubuntu 8.04.2 (no uttsc at the moment).

I've noticed that when I plug in an NTFS drive via USB, it won't mount
automatically. It shows up as 'disk6' and 'disk6p1' in utdiskadm -l,
but I have to manually run 'utdiskadm -m disk6p1' to mount it.

Are there any tweaks needed to have utdiskadm automatically mount NTFS drives?

- Murray
