Hi Craig,
Yeah i was trying to run it from console and get the vmware window
running natively on my desktop.
When using a dos VM typing at the dos prompt nothing would be remotely
what i would type, control keys everything was completely out of
whack. i had to ALT+BACKSPACE to get out of it and back to login
screen.
I found some information at vmware here
http://www.vmware.com/support/ws5/doc/ws_devices_keymap_linux_longer.html
but by the look of things id be almost creating the keymap from
scratch so i was reluctant to go down that path.
I dont recall if i have the same problem running a vm with Windows XP,
ill try tonight. I use the uttsc client to connect to another windows
machine which works fine so i might use that approach, but still wont
work for dos (or similar) applications though.
Thanks
Nick
